So says my brother randomly at the dinner table. It's good to be home. I am having a fine time in Columbus, and I do miss the life near the University, but there's something great about just being at home. My brother and sister have such an amusing dynamic, often insulting each other to extents that normal people would be weeping at, or laughing hysterically because the insults are so ridiculous:
Drew: This tastes like Rice a Roni
Cheeky Monkey: You're a Rice a Roni
D: Your face is Rice a Roni
C: Then why don't you eat it
D: Maybe I will
C: Then you'll get fatter
D: Like you?
It goes on. Their tone is always so angry but their words are ridiculous and kinda mean. Usually it ends when my mom or dad yells at one of them for saying something really mean. Then they get mad at the "Why do you always yell at me and never him/her???" Classic. Other battles that occurred just during dinner time included a face smacking contest, a who deserves more pity the youngest or the middle child, and whose barbeque sauce is who? No wonder my parents were pouring Manhattans.
I wrapped up my week at OSU with more papers followed by CELEBRATION! One quarter down 2 to go plus 2 semesters. So we all went out to one of the cohort's apartments for a night of drinking, charades, and then dancing in the bar. I followed this night up with a trip to the zoo, which in Columbus means Zoo Lights. They deck out all the trees with christmas lights and have a little song and light show as well as keep all teh late night animal exhibits open. Seeing nocturnal animals like bats, mountain lions, and even a wolverine! It was a bit chilly but good times nonetheless. Friday night Powder Climber, Cardmaster Cider, Tall Bear, and I celebrated the start of vacation with cheesecake and wine and video games for a quiet end to an exhausting week.
Heavy Spy picked me up from the airport and took me and Tiana Gamer to Dungeon Daddy's where we all went to "the bacon restaurant". Everything here has bacon in it from the mayonaisse to the drinks. I had a bourbon-bacon drink and a 2/3 pound burger which was 50% beef 50% ground bacon. So. Good. I'll be dealing with the cholesterol for the next year which will be when I have a chance to eat there again anyway so its for the best.
Naturally, the next thing I did after landing was go to Disneyland. I still have a pass and it was one of those things I really missed in Ohio. I went with Heavy Spy, Dungeon Daddy Tenshi and some other people from Heavy Spy's old staff. King Wrangler and Fall Girl and I happened to bump into Banana Slug and VG Anteater, which was awesome! They seem to be doing well. Mama G and Always Playing VGs were also there but I did not actually see them because they were babysitting Mama Goldfish's nephew. Hanging out with old friends in the happiest place on earth, sheer bliss.
So I look forward to many more hangouts, lots of video games and good family time. You can bet Naysayer P Squirrel and Brock antics are en route. For now, I leave a short blog, mostly because I'm not procrastinating anything but just taking it easy. Adieu!

Reading: Feast of Crows still. Great to read on planes since you never have to turn your books off.
Listening to: Christmas Songs: My favorite at the moment: What Child is This? so powerful.
Playing: Gears of War 3 with the bro. Gotta catch up on all the Xbox 360 games. Lovin it!
